DUNOD-MALLIER — Wrought Iron Craftsmen

Wrought Iron Craftsmen

The Dunod Mallier Wrought Iron and Fine Metal Workshops were founded in 1998 in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley.

Driven by their enthusiasm and passion, dedicated to meeting their customer’s demanding requirements, the Dunod Mallier’s craftsmen surpass the bounderies of their materials, they transform metals into genuine art works. A combination of technical and artistic alchemy, their expertise enhances and beautifies metals: including pure iron, steel, stainless steel, bronze brass, copper, titanium and gold foil...

Contemporary staircases, grand century doors, and unique furnitures creations rhythm the workshop’s daily life. The craftsmen elaborate plans and glorify the handicraft of metalworks on all projects, from the most sophisticated to the simplest, with the same high standards.

The master craftsmen are truly proud of their work – now sold all over the world – and this pride nourishes their skill even further. "Our projects are undertaken in collaboration and confidence, so as to always ensure the customer’s satisfaction."

The company’s expertise stems from both the craftsmen’s initial training as well as in-house training. The company trains about two apprentices a year and welcomes one to two journeymen as part of their trip around France.

Whether dealing with an architect, a designer or directly with a private customer, all projects take the following three stages:

In 2012, Dunod Mallier was awarded the ‘Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant’ label attributed to the best French craftsmen for their expertise and high quality technical skills.
